When did Ariana delete her Twitter?

Two days after the BAFTA broadcast, netizens noticed that Ariana deactivated her Twitter account.

In defense of the prom actress and her viral show moment, ceremony producer Nick Bullen told Variety, “I think it’s incredibly unfair, to be honest. I absolutely loved it.

“Everyone I spoke to that was in the room absolutely loved it. She’s a big star, she was incredible.

“That rap section in the middle mentioning the women in the room came out because it was a great year for women in film and we wanted to celebrate that.

“I think a lot of people don’t like change and there’s a perception that the BAFTAs need to be that somewhat stuffy, traditional British message from central England.”

He added: “We don’t just want to appeal to the traditional British awards audience.

“The social media presence was incredibly important to us.

“We wanted to spread the message that this is a show for everyone and I think some people don’t like that change.”
