As for Shultz, who was the grandson of the former US Secretary of State and a board member of Theranos George Schulzhe went on to start his own company.
After his LinkedInhe is CEO and co-founder of Flux Biosciences.
After his time at Theranos, he returned to Stanford to work in his Wang Lab and study Giant Magnetoresistive (GMR) technology.
Tyler worked as a research engineer at Theranos from September 2013 to April 2014.
What did Erika Cheung and Tyler Shultz say about Theranos?
She revealed that in Erika’s TED Talk Theranos altered data in their labs.
Tyler also told NPR that “there’s nothing the Edison could do that I couldn’t do with a pipette in my own hand,” he said.
“It was clear that there was an open secret within Theranos, that this technology just didn’t exist,” Tyler said.
Erika said she was “uncomfortable” working at the company and being asked to change data points in the lab.
“It became very uncomfortable and very stressful for me to work at the company,” Erika said via CNBC.
“I tried to tell as many people as possible, but it just didn’t get through to people.”
In 2017 forbes listed Tyler on their 30 under 30 list.
What happened to Elizabeth Holmes?
January 3, 2022 was Holmes found guilty not guilty on four counts and not guilty on four counts.
The jury remained deadlocked on three other charges.
She was found guilty of conspiracy to defraud investors; Brian Grossman’s $38 million wire scam; $100 million DeVos family wire fraud; $6 million wire fraud by former Cravath attorney Dan Mosley; and $99 million in wire fraud by Lakeshore Capital Management LP.
However, the founder was found not guilty of one count of conspiracy to commit referral fraud against paying Theranos patients and three counts of referral fraud against paying Theranos patients.
holmes will be sentenced on September 26, 2022, following her January 3, 2022 conviction.
