What happened to the Mike Missanelli Show?

Mike Missanelli announced on May 31 that he was leaving his radio show on 97.5 The Fanatic.

“It’s difficult to get that out because it seems so surreal, but this is my last day hosting The Mike Missanelli Show,” he said on the air.

The show is reportedly ending because Missanelli and the company decided to “go in a different direction.”

His contract also expired in a few weeks.

“My current contract is up in a few weeks and the company and I have decided to go in a different direction. It’s like the guy that comes to Bull Durham and says, ‘The organization wants to change something.’ Well, that’s it,” Missanelli explained via Crossing Broad.

“The network and I are talking about staying with the company in some role, but who knows. What I can tell you is that they already have a replacement show signed and I’m sure you’ll be hearing about it in the next few days.”

At this point, it remains unclear which show will be featured in Missanelli’s 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. spot.
