Who is Genevie Mayo?

Aside from being known as an undergraduate candidate, Genevie, 26, is known for her career as a neonatal nurse.

A native of Baltimore City, Maryland, she hopes to one day be a hospital CEO, according to her bachelor’s bio.

When it comes to dating, she looks for a “loyal and adventurous man and only dates to find the right deal.”

Genevie often reads Colleen Hoover books, plays sports, or spends time with her family when she’s not working.

What happened to Genevie on The Bachelor?

Fans worried for Genevie after she was spotted in a sling, but little information was initially available about the accident.

However, in February 2023, she took to her Instagram page to share the story behind the injury, revealing that it happened during the Bachelor Bowl.

“Just here to remind the world of the body (and soul) I lost in this field #woundedwarrior #BachelorNation,” she wrote via Distractify alongside an image on her Instagram story.

In another post, she then re-shared a picture of her friend Clare, showing her in the sling, accepting Zach’s rose.

“Sling won’t stop them from catching your man,” Clare’s text read.

Genevie then added: “That’s what I tell MF,” alongside teary-eyed emojis.

Details about her and the severity of her injury are currently unclear.
