COLLEGE basketball star Angel Reese gained popularity after leading LSU to its first NCAA championship.
However, basketball fans noticed that Reese was not on the court during the LSU game on Friday, November 17, 2023, and they want to know why.
What happened to Angel Reese?
During the game on November 14, Reese played the first half as usual.
However, the basketball star had to sit out the second half of the game.
In the following game on November 17, Reese was benched again, leading others to question why.
LSU head coach Kim Mulkey declined to comment on why she did not play.
Mulkey said: “Shall I explain why? It is quite obvious that Angel was not in uniform.”
“Angel is a part of this basketball team and we hope to see her sooner than later. I won’t answer anymore. That’s it.”
What did Angel Reese say about being benched?
Since being benched, Angel has yet to speak to the public about the situation.
However, she has taken to social media to post cryptic messages.
Reese wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, “Please don’t believe everything you read.”
She then posted a video about soccer coach Deion Sanders on her Instagram story.
Coach Sanders says in the Video: “Look at me. What about me would make you think I care about your opinion of me?”
“Your opinion of me is not the opinion I have of myself. You don’t create me, so you can’t break me. You didn’t build me, so you can’t kill me.”
“You know what, God created me, so you can’t do anything to me. I was him, I made a difference, a game changer, I was that guy. So what would change? “No damn thing.”
The video continues: “I don’t even play the game and you have an opinion about me. I love it, but I don’t care.”.“

Angel Reese was born on May 6, 2002 in Randallstown, Maryland.
During his school years, Reese attended Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore.
She then played college basketball for two years at the University of Maryland
