TAYLOR Swift and Damon Albern have publicly feuded – but all for what?
The leader of Blur and Gorillaz recently sat down with the LA Times, where he made false claims about Swift’s songwriting skills.
Who is Damon Albarn?

In 1998, he formed the virtual band Gorillaz with cartoonist Jamie Hewlett.
The group is known for its hip hop, pop and world music styles and released their first self-titled album in 2001 and was a worldwide success.

What happened between Damon Albarn and Taylor Swift?
The pair became feuding after Albert told LA The time when Swift didn’t write her own music.
When rebuffed by the interviewer who said she also co-wrote her songs, Albarn said: “That doesn’t count. I know what co-writing is. Co-writing is very different from writing.
“I’m not hating anyone, I’m just saying there’s a big difference between a songwriter and a co-composer.
“That’s not to say the results can’t be really great. And some of the greatest singers – I mean, Ella Fitzgerald has never written a song in her life.
“When I sing, I have to close my eyes and just be in it. I consider myself a traditionalist.”
Repost LA Times tweet to Albarn’s comment, Swift wrote: “@DamonAlbarn I was a huge fan of yours until I saw this. I write ALL of my own songs. Your hot words are absolute. untrue and harmful.
“You don’t have to like my songs but really try and discredit my writing. WOW.”
She continued with a quip: “P.S., I wrote this tweet alone in case you were wondering.”
Albarn responded that his comments had been “reduced to clickbait”.
He said: “I totally agree with you. I had a conversation about composing the song and sadly it was reduced to clickbait.
“I sincerely and unconditionally apologize. The last thing I want to do is discredit your work. I hope you understand.”
