What happened at TOPS Friendly Supermarket in Buffalo, New York?
On Saturday afternoon, just after 2:30 p.m., shots were fired at a supermarket in New York.
The Buffalo Police Department took to Twitter to alert those in the area.
“BPD at the scene of a mass shooting at Tops on the 1200 block of Jefferson Avenue,” she wrote.
“Police say several people were hit by gunfire. The shooter is in custody. Drivers and residents are urged to avoid the area.”
The suspect in custody opened fire at a Buffalo convenience store during a live stream on Twitch, killing at least 10 people, according to BNO News.
Officials have reported that the scene is no longer active and there are no other suspects.
