What does crop mean on TikTok?

If you’ve been browsing TikTok lately, you’ve probably come across the word “crop” flooding the comments section.

Viral jargon usually appears under videos that have a lot of subtitles that can obscure a video.

When someone comments “crop” or “we need a crop,” it means they want you to post the TikTok without a caption or text so they can get a screenshot.

The same term can also be used to ask a content creator to trim the length of their video.

However, the word harvest is often spammed under almost every video these days, such is the trend’s popularity.
