EYEWITNESS news broadcaster Ken Rosato has been fired from ABC after he made comments about a fellow co-host in an off-camera moment.
Before he was dropped from the network, he co-hosted the morning news program with Shirleen Allicot.

On May 12, 2023, it was announced that longtime ABC-7 host Ken Rosato had been fired from the network.
Although both Ken and the broadcaster have remained silent about the exact incident, an insider told The US Sun, “It was the C-word that led to his firing.”
“He said it on the hot mic, offscreen.” The comment was reportedly aimed at co-host Shirleen Allicot.
However, a representative for Rosato denied the reports and shared page six: “Being fired for a racial slur is 100 percent inaccurate and untrue.”
