On June 12, 2022, Toby Keith released a statement on social media revealing that he was diagnosed with stomach cancer last year.
“I was diagnosed with stomach cancer last fall. I have spent the last 6 months undergoing chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. So far so good. I need time to breathe, rest and relax,” Keith wrote.
“I look forward to spending this time with my family. But I’ll see the fans sooner than later. I can barely wait for it,” he continued.
It is currently unknown how serious his cancer diagnosis is.
