And fans watching at home can tune in on DAZN UK for £19.99.

That’s sparked a backlash as DAZN has come under fire for additional fees, as fans are already paying a subscription fee to access their platform.

One boxing fan said: “So Canelo [Alvarez] Whoever is likely to be the biggest boxer has a PPV price of £10😂, but Benn v Eubank is £20😂.”

Another added approvingly: “What am I paying my subscription for? To watch some crazy sports documentaries??

“Because I didn’t see decent boxing there. Canelo v GGG had to pay on top of that, AJ v Usyk had to pay on top of that. Now that!! I’m out and unsubscribing!

And a third said: “Overpriced with a terrible undercard, just canceled my DAZN subscription as it’s a complete wallet.”

Others have pointed out that Eubank v Benn is not a title or a fight and could be a mismatch given the usual weight difference between the two fighters.

Benn has typically fought at 147 pounds in the past and gained 10 pounds for this fight while Eubank lost 3 pounds from his standard fight weight.

His father, Chris Eubank Sr, expressed concern for his son given his weight loss and rehydration rules.

Eubank Sr. said: “This fight should not be allowed, it is dangerous.

“I have given and will continue to give my advice because I know how dangerous weight loss is.

“This is modern ‘gladiating’, this is not a play for the audience.

“We have to be strict or lives will be at stake and my son’s life must not be at stake. I’ve already lost one. That must not happen again.”

Eubank Jr. hasn’t shown the same concern, instead trolling Benn this week about his eating habits, devouring desserts and a slice of birthday cake when he was supposed to lose weight.

Benn has also poked fun at his opponent, accusing Eubank Jr. of having issues with his father.
