Forest skipper Worrall has been great all season and the centre-back helped his side to another shutout victory today.
Sky quickly snapped up the 25-year-old for an interview after Jon Moss blew the final whistle.
And perhaps he was a little too caught up in the emotions of the promotion, a slip of the tongue forced by Worrall heaven into an apology.
He said: “As I keep saying, we’ve been really good, not just this season.
“I’m not saying we’ve been good in previous seasons because we weren’t.
“We were s***e but it took a long time for this club to come along.”
The Sky reporter then offered a lighthearted apology, saying with a chuckle: “Joe, it’s understandable with your emotions, but we do have to apologize for your language there.”
Worrall himself said “sorry” as he joked back tears after Forest’s historic win.

The defender spoke with a lump in his throat and tears in his eyes as he described it as an “honor” to represent the two-time European champions.
In a bizarre analogy, Worrall referred to Forest as a “whipped dog” after years of mistreatment in League Two.
The skipper said of his team: “I keep using the expression ‘like a whipped dog’.
“If you treat a dog kindly, he becomes a nice dog.
“When you mistreat one, they are aggressive. We were, we were a battered team.”
