Wendy Williams The FIRES Management Team & Only Talked To Her Son And Ex When She Was Replaced By Sherri Shepherd On The Show

WENDY Williams fired her management team and spoke only to her son and ex-husband Kevin Hunter, The Sun can cover exclusively.

Many sources have exclusively said that Wendy removed both her longtime manager, Bernie Young, and her recent crisis manager, Howard Bragman.

An insider told The Sun: “Bernie and Howard were out. They didn’t even have a way to contact her.

“No one has no way of contacting Wendy, she doesn’t even have her own phone.”

Wendy’s insiders claim Howard was brought in by the show’s production company, Debmar Mercury, but was never hired by Wendy herself. (Debmar Mercury has denied it hired a crisis manager directly.)

The same insider added that the hiring of Bernie back in 2019 was also led in large part by the production company, although Wendy was able to agree to his role.

Meanwhile, another source accuses Wendy of having days where she doesn’t know who Bernie or Howard is, because she sometimes struggle to recognize even longtime friends.

A friend claims the former presenter is on good terms with her son Kevin Jr, who is taking care of his mother with guidance from the star’s ex, Kevin Hunter Sr.

“Her son is doing a great job of her, taking care of her and getting the help she needs.

Howard released a lengthy statement purportedly on behalf of Wendy on Tuesday after confirming that her show had been canceled and replaced with a new series by Sherri Shepherd.

His initial statement said that Wendy is grateful for the support she has received from the production company and even Sherri, who has been a guest host on The Wendy Williams Show continuously for several months. .

He said: “It was a challenging time for Wendy as she dealt with her health issues.

“She is incredibly grateful to Debmar-Mercury, Sherri and everyone else who have supported the program during this time.

“More than anyone, she understands the reality of syndication – you can’t go to a market and sell a show The Maybe Wendy Show.

“She understands why this decision was made from a business point of view and she has been assured by Debmar-Mercury that her well-being if her health is to the point where she can organize once more and if she wishes to be held again that she will return to TV by that time”, the statement was first made to Deadline concluded.

Within hours of the crisis manager’s statement, Wendy’s New, Verified Instagram Account accuse Howard of speaking out.

“Mr. Bragman, although I appreciate your concern and have the utmost respect for you, I do not authorize you to make any statements on my behalf regarding my current status with Debmar Mercury.

“Once again, thank you for your continued concern and support.”

Howard then called asking who posted from Wendy’s new account.

“Honestly, I’m not convinced of the source of that social media post,” he said.

“So when my old friend Wendy Facetimes personally and we had the opportunity to discuss recent events, together, we could find the best path forward.”

Wendy’s health crisis

As The Sun previously reported, the daytime presenter has been battling medical troubles for months.

Sources say the host of The Wendy Williams Show is witty, astute as before as she battles a variety of medical issues, including addiction, Graves’ disease and Covid.

A source close to the show told The Sun: “The spark is gone. That Wendy, who has been ten years with twinkling eyes, a quick smile and that little wink is not like now.”

Insiders add some days are better than others for the once fierce daytime diva.

“She wasn’t always as active as she used to be. She has days where she is need help eating, getting out of bed and getting dressed. ”

Even more heartbreaking, the source added that she doesn’t always recognize people she’s known for years.

“There are people Wendy knows, has worked closely with her, and there are days when she doesn’t know who they are.”
