WALES goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey was sent off against Iran.
Nottingham Forest’s shot-stopper flew out of his box and failed in his attempt to get Mehdi Taremi on the ball.
Instead, Hennessey took out the Iranian No. 9 but was initially cautioned for the foul.
Referee Mario Escobar was ordered to look at the pitchside monitor and overturned his decision to swing a red card, with Hennessey dismissing four serious fouls rather than preventing a scoring opportunity.
