‘Weak’ Putin faces ‘predators’ killing him like Gaddafi in his devious inner circle, Vlad’s ex-pal warns

VLADIMIR Putin risks being hanged and killed like Libyan tyrant Muammar Gaddafi if he doesn’t win in Ukraine, a former pal has warned.

Russia’s tyrannical leader is quickly perceived as “weak” by his inner circle and they will quickly turn against him – with Vlad already surrounded by “lip-licking predators”.

Igor Girkin, an intelligence and army veteran, issued the warning to Vlad – speaking for Russia’s hardliners who believe the ailing Putin is too soft to win the war in Ukraine.

He used to be a staunch Putin commander – even helping him annex Crimea and subdue Donbass in 2014.

“[There must be a] Changing at least part of the team who are not only thieves… and scumbags… but who have also completely failed at everything they’ve been put in their hands,” Girkin said.

The suspected war criminal played a central role in Putin’s annexation of Crimea and the founding of the puppet Donetsk People’s Republic in eastern Ukraine eight years ago.

And observers have suggested Girkin’s words show “predators” are now “licking their lips” while shooting at Vlad.

Girkin hinted that the military and security bloc would lose loyalty to Putin over the stunning failures in the botched “military special operation.”

“The Secret Service has failed … both politically and militarily,” Girkin, 51, said in a video.

“The army cannot fight normally because there is nothing [to fight with]. The FSB cannot catch criminals fleeing abroad in droves.”

And he warned that the worst-case scenario is that Putin will end up like Gaddafi, who was deposed by his own people in 2011 and then brutally assassinated.

He warned that Russia would be “turned into Libya, where everyone fights everyone else,” a scenario more than likely “with partial foreign occupation — and total and ultimate destruction of the country.”

And he said the “best-case scenario” for Putin is that he ends up like Yugoslav dictator Slobodan Milošević – who died in 2006 while facing an international war crimes tribunal in The Hague.

YouTuber Ivan Yakovina, 42, with 743,000 subscribers, said Girkin allegedly works “for some dark, chthonic forces in the Kremlin/FSB.”

He said: “If so, then these forces are very dissatisfied with Vladimir Putin.

“Through Girkin’s mouth, they claimed that Gaddafi’s fate awaits the Russian president and Libya’s fate…

“To put it bluntly, they are already threatening Putin and demanding that a full-fledged war be declared against Ukraine.

“I think it’s a very interesting dynamic.

“The most hateful … come out of Putin’s grasp and lick their lips like predators who foresee him sitting ‘too weak and liberal’ in his luxurious bunker.

“Military and special services are now showing their teeth.”

These were the military and security hardliners who “have weapons and the ability to use them,” said Russian-born Yakovina of the independent Ukraine-based NV magazine and website.

Girkin – also known as Igor Strelkov – is wanted in the west for the 2014 downing of flight MH17 over eastern Ukraine.

What happened to Gaddafi?

COLONEL Gaddafi’s brutal regime ended on October 20, 2011 when he was cornered by a revolutionary mob.

He was killed in a wild execution staged by rebels after being found crouched down in a gully in Sirte, Libya.

The chilling video captured the tyrant’s final moments as he was seen covered in blood amidst a crowd of fighters chanting “God is great”.

The dictator who committed war crimes and brutally oppressed his people can be heard in the clips begging for mercy and saying, “What you are doing is wrong”.

“What’s up? What’s up? What do you want?” pleaded the bloody tyrant.

“You dog” and “victory cheers” are heard as the confused dictator is captured by the crowd.

He was reportedly beaten and tortured by the rebels, including having a knife or bayonet inserted up his anus.

Gaddafi was then shot at point-blank range, and according to some reports he was executed with his own specially made golden gun.

His body was publicly displayed in a freezer so that the populace would have proof that the abominable ruler was dead.

Putin is believed to be haunted by the scenes in which the tyrannical Gaddafi was brutalized before he was executed by a mob.

And it was all captured on video, which further worried Vlad, who reportedly took it as a warning shot for his own regime.

According to The Atlantic, he watched the video “obsessively” and saw it as a wake-up call.

Putin is said to have decided to go against the West or he would be torn apart in revolution next.

Frightened, Vlad angrily condemned Gaddafi’s death and directly referred to the disturbing footage at a press conference in 2011.

He said: “Almost all of Gaddafi’s family was killed, his body was shown on all global TV channels, it was impossible to watch without disgust.

“The man was covered in blood, was alive and was finished.”

Putin branded the UN resolution supporting military intervention in Libya as a “medieval call to the Crusades”.

The former KGB agent was serving as Russia’s prime minister at the time, spending four years in that role between back-to-back presidential terms from 2000 to 2008 and then from 2012 to the present.

The New Yorker reported in 2017 that this was the moment that convinced Putin that the West was his enemy and made him paranoid that he was trying to undermine him through uprisings in Russia.

Obama’s national security adviser Tom Donilon said, “From the beginning of his second term as president, I think he brought Russia into a stance of fairly active hostility toward the United States and the West.”

He added, “Communication really broke down after that.”

Russian journalist Mikhail Zygar said Putin learned from Gaddafi’s death that “weakness and compromise” are not options.

He said: “When he was an outcast, no one touched him.

“But as soon as he opened up, he wasn’t just brought down, he was killed like a mangy old mutt in the street.”
