‘We need this’ – Chelsea fans are calling Andrey Santos the ‘new John Terry’ after he inspired a speech in the Brazil U20 dressing room

CHELSEA fans think they have the ‘new John Terry’ in their books.
That was after Andrey Santos delivered an impassioned speech in the dressing room in January before inspiring Brazil to a huge win over rivals Argentina.

Santos, 18, completed an £18million move from Vasco to Stamford Bridge earlier this month.
A strong and skilled central midfielder, Santos was wanted by Newcastle before settling for Graham Potter’s Chelsea.
And now he’s proving his skills by captaining Brazil at the South American U20 Championships.
The young Samba Boys scored a high-flyer in their first game against Peru, with Santos scoring in their 3-0 win over Peru.
But things got even better for Chelsea’s new man as he scored his second goal of the tournament in yesterday’s 3-1 win over Argentina.
Brilliant footage has now emerged from Brazil’s dressing room before kick-off, showing Santos delivering an impassioned speech to his team-mate.
The midfielder held nothing back as he urged his side to victory, saying: “Our time has come, now is the time to put it on the field.
“All together. Fuck whoever they put on the field.

“[Brazil’s subs] In the next half, come in and destroy them. Let’s go together and make our dreams come true.”
The speech delighted Chelsea fans, who believe they not only have a successor for veteran Brazilian Thiago Silva, but also for legendary former captain Terry.
One Blues supporter explained: “He gave a John Terry-esque locker room speech!”
Another said: “Already a leader. We need that at Chelsea.”
One remarked: “Reminds you of another specific Chelsea player doesn’t it?”
Another added: “Thiago Silva Energy. We have the current and future Brazilian captain.”
