‘We have to be respectful’ – Man Utd loanee Amad Diallo begs Sunderland fans to change chant about him

SUNDERLAND loan star Amad Diallo has asked fans at the Stadium of Light to change their chant about his manhood as it is “disrespectful”.
The 20-year-old Manchester United youngster has started to thrive in the North East and is becoming a fan favourite.

But according to talkSPORT reports, a segment of Black Cats supporters ignored his plea against Millwall on Saturday.
At the start of the game, the chant – which includes a line about the size of his manhood – could be heard from the stands.
Diallo had previously said: “Sunderland fans I’ve had a great time so far and I love your energy.
“Hearing you sing my name is amazing, but we have to be respectful.
“Let’s change the song and keep the noise.”
Sunderland hammered the south London club 3-0 into the top half of the Championship.
Fans were happy with the win but had mixed feelings about the song.
One fan tweeted: “Pre-match: Sunderland urge fans to stop singing Amad Diallo chant. 20 seconds later: It’s singing.”

Another added: “Some of the comments here are embarrassing. Lad has been great for us so far.
“Requires a bit of open-minded thinking and understanding and people abuse it.
Former Atalanta youngster Diallo cost the Old Trafford club £37million to sign almost two years ago.
The starlet has scored just one goal in nine competitive games for United.
And he also struggled while on loan at Rangers last term.
But the Ivory Coast international is beginning to find a foothold with the Black Cats.
And that can only bode well for Sunderland, Man Utd and Diallo.
