Speaking at a news conference Friday, Rodgers was asked to describe the Packers’ ownership.
Green Bay is the only major fan-owned sports franchise in North America.
And Rodgers said, “We don’t line the pockets of a billionaire owner. We have no owner.
“There are many shareholders, but the team really belongs to the city.

“It creates a really strong connection between the people of Green Bay and the area, the state of Wisconsin and the Packers organization itself.
“I think there’s a team in Europe with a similar situation, but we’re the only team in North America with that situation.”
Green Bay is the last NFL team to play this Sunday in London in their duel at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Rodgers added: “I know the team was talked about in London years ago.
“I don’t know if that’s still a conversation but there are a lot of great venues in London.
“That’s kind of why I want to go to Wembley because I’ve been a fan of that stadium for so long and watch the Premier League. And see the derbies there.
“Of course I looked at the Palladium, saw all the concerts. I’ve always dreamed of seeing a big concert, a big football game at Wembley.

“But the games have always been great – this is the first game between teams with a track record, I think in London.
“It’s about time we got here.”
