I Don’t Think Chahal Wants To Stay With RCB: Brad Hogg

Former Australian cinematographer Brad Hogg suggested that Chahal parted ways with RCB in anticipation of a bigger deal at the IPL mega auction. However, Hogg believes Chahal might not attract a big bid. Brad Hogg recently reviewed RCB’s retention decisions in a video on his YouTube channel and said:

“Maxwell just had a good year, and they reinvested in him, that’s okay. I don’t think Chahal wants to stay with RCB, he’s looking for a bit more money in the auction and I I don’t think he’s going to succeed. However, you have to invest in your Indian fast pitcher, when you have one.”

Hogg added:

“One thing they could do is add Devdutt Padikkal to the unselected list. Because I think he’s going to be a quality player and a man for the future.”

Yuzvendra Chahal has been a mainstay in RCB’s bowling assault for a number of years. It will be interesting to see what spinner RCB management will put in to fill the void left by Chahal in the upcoming season. [Watch] Yuzvendra Chahal leaves RCB emotionally
