FOOTBALL is back – and Watford star Ismaila Sarr has ensured it has returned with a bang after scoring that incredible goal.
The winger was in action for the Hornets tonight at West Brom.
And it only took 12 minutes for the 24-year-old to have his magic moment.
With the result still goalless, Sarr received the ball about five yards in his own half with his back to goal.
He wasn’t under pressure from West Brom, which allowed him to turn and spot Baggie’s stopper David Button off his line.
Without a moment’s hesitation, Sarr immediately decided to pull the trigger despite still being in his own half and watched as he sailed towards goal.
Button tried to crawl back but he was too far out and couldn’t do anything as the ball floated over his head into the net while Sarr celebrated.
Former Watford midfielder David Payne said on BBC Three Counties Radio: “What a goal, what a finish. That’s a goal.
“Watford was under a lot of pressure but the ball falls in the middle of the field and Ismaila Sarr does that.
“David Button needs to look at his positioning.

“Sarr delivers a powerful chip – I don’t even know how you describe it.”
While another fan tweeted: “Ismalia Sarr already with goal of the season.”
Another commented: “Oh wow! Sarr just scored a ridiculous goal for Watford.”
It brought back memories of David Beckham’s legendary halfway goal for Manchester United against Wimbledon.
That memorable moment happened on the opening day of the 1996/97 Premier League season.
