Watch Tottenham’s Cristian Romero celebrate facing Harry Maguire as the Man Utd captain scores a horror own goal

TOTTENHAM defender Cristian Romero reveled in Harry Maguire’s own goal as he celebrated in the face of the Manchester United captain.
The Reds centre-back made a blunder when he put the ball in his own net in the 72nd minute to level the score at 2-2 at Old Trafford.

Maguire was looking to clear the ball dangerously as Romero waited in the middle to head in the net of Son Heung-min.
But the England international, who has been plagued by inconsistent performances this season, has diverged from David De Gea’s helplessness.
And Romero quickly rubbed salt into the 29-year-old’s wound by kneeling down and shouting at him.
Fans were quick to comment on the incident on social media, as one user tweeted: “Romero just laughed at Maguire because we’re a joke club.”

Meanwhile, one person simply said: “Romero is a troll lmao no one takes Maguire seriously.”

Commenting on Maguire’s own goal in a commentary for Sky Sports, Gary Neville commented: “The misery continues for Harry Maguire.”
But luckily for Maguire, his mistake didn’t affect the game as Cristiano Ronaldo bailed him out.
The Portuguese striker raised the score to 3-2 for United in the 81st minute, this was the goal that sealed the victory.
Ronaldo scored a stunning hat-trick at the Theater of Dreams as the 37-year-old broke the deadlock in the first half after an impressive strike from 25 yards.
After Harry Kane’s equalizer, Ronaldo then gave United a 2-1 lead from close range after Jadon Sancho’s cross.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is the second oldest player to score a hat-trick in the Premier League, behind only former United and Spurs icon Terry Sheringham.
