Watch the terrifying moment a van drives into a crowd as a man is arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

THIS is the horrific moment a van crashed into a crowd after an alleged argument.

Footage shows the vehicle approaching pedestrians in Bolton in the early hours of the morning.

One person jumps out of the way as the van drives into a group of people.

Bystanders then rush to help those affected as the video ends.

Miraculously, no one was hurt in the attack, which police described as “domestic.”

They confirmed that a 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.

Dramatic images show broken glass strewn in the street and a trash can tipped on its side in the wake of the horror.

Detective Inspector Stuart Woodhead of GMP’s Bolton CID said: “Fortunately no one was seriously injured in this incident but the outcome could have been very different which is why we have arrested the suspect on suspicion of attempted murder.

“Following investigation, we believe this was a domestic incident in which the suspect is believed to have driven into a group of people with whom he was involved in an altercation.

“The suspect remains in custody for questioning and a scene will remain on Market Street today while our investigation continues.”
