This is the moment Jake Paul Anderson dropped Silva before claiming the biggest win of his boxing career.

The boxer-turned-youtuber beat Silva on points in Arizona, earning a knockdown in the eighth and final round.

Paul landed a counter right hook to smack defeat in the face of the Brazilian UFC legend.

The American was awarded a unanimous decision 77-74 and 78-73 twice as he defeated his idolized rival.

He said: “It’s a surreal moment. Hard work pays off. First and foremost, I want to thank Anderson.

“He was my idol growing up. He inspired me to be great. He was the first celebrity I ever met.

“Without him we wouldn’t have had a fight this year. He’s a tough mofo. A legend. I have nothing but respect for him.

“It just goes to show that everyone watching at home is chasing their dreams. It is never too late.

“I started boxing as a pro two and a half years ago and just beat one of the all-time greats because I’m obsessed with it.

“I walk so hard every day. Nothing can stand in my way. No distractions.”

Silva, 47, added: “I think the judges got it right. Look, it’s hard to come in here and fight a young kid. I tried to do my best.

“I trained hard every day. Jake is better than me today. I can’t say anything bad about my opponent.

“I think everyone has to respect this boy because he’s doing the best job. I’ve been training hard. I’m a warrior.”
