One of the new releases this weekend is the dramatic miniseries The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey starring Samuel L. Jackson. The series is based on the novel of the same name by Walter Mosley. In addition to Jackson, the show also stars Dominique Fishback, Walton Goggins, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Damon Gupton, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, and Omar Benson Miller.

Jackson stars as Ptolemy Grey, a 93-year-old man struggling with temporary amnesia who begins to recall his past. He uses his returned memories to investigate the suspicious death of his nephew.

So far, the film has received rave reviews from critics and currently has 88% approval ratings on Rotten Tomatoeswith Jackson’s performance being rated as excellent.

Are Ptolemy Gray’s Last Days on Netflix?

No, the miniseries starring Samuel L. Jackson is an Apple TV+ original. That means it’s unlikely that the series will be available to watch again Netflix. It’s possible that two streamers could share content at some point in the future, but don’t expect that anytime soon.

While the series doesn’t stream on Netflix, there are actually quite a few different movies starring Samuel L.Jackson available to watch on the service, including The others, Unicorn Store, Snakes on the plane, The Hateful Eight, Oldboy, Inconceivable and Coach Carter.
