Watch the horrifying moment Winter Olympics freestyle figure skater Jon Sallinen crashes into cameraman during the halfpipe process

FREESTYLE skier Jon Sallinen watched his Winter Olympics dreams go up in smoke after crashing into the CAMERA.
The Finnish star was in the middle of his first qualifying round in the halfpipe event in Beijing.
But as he slid backwards, preparing for his next trick, Sallinen seemingly lost control on the pipe and flew into a nearby cameraman.
Finn shyly got up and finished his run.
However, the judges were completely unimpressed – giving him a score of just 18/100.
Fortunately, the camera operator got up after being helped by a colleague.
After the horrific crash, Sallinen said: “I wasn’t even sure if I was skiing on the second run after the impact.
“I hope the cameraman is okay, I landed straight on him.”
But Eurosport commentator James Webb blamed Sallinen for the crash.
Webb said: “He pushed very far from that first wall.
“It looks like his weight has gone too far and he can’t get it back.
“A very graphic depiction of the dangers associated with freestyle sports.”
Former GB star Richard Cobbing added: “He caught the edge, blasted.
“Sallinen took a good body hit the top of the pipe, that would hurt.”
