Watch the action-packed teaser for the ‘Cowboy Bebop’ live-action remake

Netflix has unveiled an action-packed teaser for its live-action adaptation of the anime Cowboy Bebop, which can premiere on November 19.

The streaming platform launched a “Misplaced Session” teaser yesterday (October 19), which reveals its main actors in motion for the primary time. Titled a “Misplaced Session”, the teaser references the unique anime, the place every episode was known as a “session”.

The clip – which clocks in underneath three minutes – is a stylised montage of scenes that includes the sequence’ primary trio: Spike Spiegel (performed by John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda).

Struggle sequences match the vitality of their rapid-fire dialogue, because the three bounty hunters always butt heads whereas trying to do their jobs. Spiegel’s primary rival, Vicious (Alex Hassell), briefly seems to warn him: “I’m coming for you.” Watch the clip beneath.

The original anime is also set to make its Netflix debut tomorrow (October 21), with all 26 episodes out there in its unique Japanese model.

Upon its announcement, anime sequence creator Shinichirō Watanabe praised Cho for “skilfully taking up the function” of Spiegel.
