TAMMY ABRAHAM showed he is a real Jose Mourinho player as he ticked down the clock after faking an injury late in Roma’s Europa Conference League win over Feyenoord.
The 24-year-old helped the Giallorossi lift the opening trophy on Wednesday night, with Nicolo Zaniolo’s first-half strike making the difference.
Roma were under heavy pressure towards the end of the game from the Dutch, who threw their bodies forward in search of an equaliser.
And Abraham capitalized on his chance to waste valuable time at the Air Albania Stadium after Marcos Senesi was challenged in the latter stages of the game.
Apparently injured, the ex-Chelsea ace went down holding his left leg only for the cameras to wink him up at the Special One.
Then he wasted a little more time when he went back to overdoing his tapping.
His time waster proved crucial in halting Feyenoord’s momentum late on as Roma held on to the win.
It’s the first time Roma have ever won a European trophy and it’s their first silver medal in 14 years following their success at the 2008 Coppa Italia.
Fans loved Abraham’s cheeky wink on social media, as one user tweeted, “The Tammy wink. Jose taught him well.”
Another joked, “AYO just winked at Tammy Abraham on live TV at Jose Mourinho.”

A third added: “That little wink from Abraham, I learned the dark arts of football from Jose!”
Meanwhile, one simply stated: “This Abraham winks. Mourinho took his soul.”
After the historic win, Arsenal target Abraham told BT Sport: “One thing I said when I came here was I will help the team get to the final and one day I want to win a trophy.
“I managed that in my first season. Thanks to my teammates, great performances. We worked hard all year.
“I love them (the fans). From the first day I came here, it’s been the best.
“We are champions, I’m happy to be part of the team, now it’s time to celebrate and enjoy.”
