Goals from Anthony Martial and Fred saw the Red Devils win 2-0 and 5-0 overall that night.

And Keane, 51, apparently has no plans to serve as a pundit for the finale.

Instead, after the game, he jokingly asked Ten Hag for “two free” tickets to the game.

Keane addressed the United boss Heaven: “And if you still have tickets for the final, let me [know].

“Just two, two free I hope, yes? Thanks.”

Ten Hag couldn’t resist the former captain and seven-time Premier League winner.

He granted Keane’s request and replied, “I think so, Roy, no problem!”

Ten Hag then walked down the Old Trafford tunnel before Keane insisted to presenter Mark Chapman that he didn’t want to pay a dime for the tickets.

He joked again, “Even for free, I’m not paying!”

Earlier in the night, Keane had slammed the January signing of Wout Weghorst for missing a glorious chance to put the hosts ahead.

Despite this, Ten Hag’s side drove to victory and meet Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final at the end of the month.

In his first season at the club, Ten Hag has guided United to their first final since losing on penalties to Villarreal in the 2021 Europa League.
