LIONEL MESSI had a brilliant reaction when Sergio Ramos scored against Marseille in the French Cup.

The former Real Madrid star headed in for the French giants’ equalizer as he canceled out Alexis Sanchez’s earlier goal.

The goal prompted a brilliant response from Messi, who looked on.

The Argentinian maestro threw his arms in the air with joy.

Messi’s jaw also dropped after the goal as he was delighted to see his teammate find the net.

It shows a big change between the two as they were bitter rivals during their time at Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Ramos also appeared to show off Messi’s earpiece and Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘Siu’ celebrations.

And the celebrations delighted many fans on social media as the clip went viral.

Unfortunately for Ramos and Messi, the goal would not result in an inspirational winner for PSG and instead Marseille would reclaim the lead in the 57th minute.

Ruslan Malinovskyi – on loan from Serie A club Atalanta – fired a winning goal from the edge of the box and sent his side through to the quarter-finals.

Ramos has admitted he’s glad their status as rivals has changed, now they have the chance to play together.

He told PSG TV: “It suffered for several years when we played against Messi.
