LIONEL MESSI made Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni TEAR after beating Croatia 3-0.
Messi helped his nation to the World Cup final after a goal and an assist in the semifinals.
And he led the celebrations before embracing with his manager Scaloni, who shed a tear with his skipper.
Messi opened the scoring from the penalty spot, becoming Argentina’s top scorer at the World Cup with 11 goals.
He has completed five so far this season and has praised his form ahead of Sunday’s final.
Messi, 35, said: “I’m enjoying it a lot.
“I feel really good, I feel strong enough to face every game. The previous game was a big sacrifice.
“Today we were tired but we gained strength to get the win.
“We played very well, we preferred to play like that because we knew they wouldn’t have the ball.
“We knew we had to run. We prepared very well. I feel very good at this World Cup. I can help the team.”
