KYLIAN MBAPPE was booed as the PSG star arrived at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris.
Fans have expressed their feelings for the striker after stories surfaced last week that he was desperate to leave Paris-Saint Germain.
Despite being one of the club’s star players and a big personality for the France national team, he felt the anger of the locals when he came to the awards ceremony.
Dressed in a smart black suit and shielded from the rain by an umbrella, Mbappe began his walk to the building in Paris.
But a chorus of boos was quickly heard as the striker, who signed a three-year £650,000-a-week deal in May, left with his entourage.
Aside from punching one person, the 23-year-old barely acknowledged the crowd and didn’t flinch.
He finally arrived for the assembled team of photographers and grinned for the cameras.
The forward had to settle for sixth in the Ballon d’Or rankings, with Karim Benzema taking the award and Sadio Mane and Kevin De Bruyne making up the top three.
Mbappe yesterday lashed out at stories that suggested he wanted to leave PSG.
After setting up Neymar’s goal for a big win against Marseille, the ace faced the camera for the first time since the rumors surfaced.

He said: “I am very happy. I never asked to leave in January.
“I didn’t understand why the story came out on game day. I was just as shocked as everyone else.
“People may think I was involved, but I wasn’t at all.”
Reports from last week suggested the Frenchman felt ‘betrayed’ by the club and some of their transfer actions.
The story sent the rumor mill into overdrive and he has now been linked with Premier League giants Manchester City and Liverpool.
