Watch European star Viktor Hovland hit a fantastic HOLE-IN-ONE on a par 4 at the 2023 Ryder Cup, but the commentators aren’t happy

VIKTOR HOVLAND hit an astonishing hole-in-one during Ryder Cup practice.
Europe takes on the United States at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Rome. The action starts tomorrow.
Hovland was on the track warming up this afternoon and scored an incredible shot that stunned fans and commentators.
The Norwegian was on the fifth hole of the short par 4 when he shot his ball straight onto the green and into the target.
The spectators were amazed and the members of Team Europe hugged the jubilant Hovland, who threw his racket to the ground.
Commentators were shocked, with one saying: “Shoots like this happen once in your life if you’re lucky.”
However, the other grumbled: “Oh no. Wrong day.”
Hovland didn’t even serve for his hole-in-one, but simply threw the ball down when he found his range perfectly.
But his attempt was technically just a birdie because it was his second tee shot, and yet so common in a practice round.
Hovland will be hoping to bring glory to Europe this weekend and improve on his poor performance at Whistling Straits two years ago.

He went 0-3-2 and tied his singles match against Colin Morikawa at the last Ryder Cup.
Hovland enters this year’s tournament in top form, having won the Memorial Tournament in June before finding success at the BMW Championship in August.
However, he made headlines off the fairway after fans noticed his Tinder profile had been leaked online.
