CESAR AZPILICUETA angrily confronted a Chelsea fan in the stands after the 4-2 defeat by Arsenal.
Captain Azpilicueta seemed to take offense at something the fan shouted after the referee blew the whistle for the whole time.
He held out his arms in confusion as the fan pointed at him from the stands, seemingly implying Chelsea needed to show more struggle.
Azpilicueta was visibly taken aback, pointed to the fan and started gesturing at it.
The defender then went to the stands to settle the dispute and appeared to criticize the fan for sarcastically clapping.
The supporter began arguing his case before holding out his hands to the Spaniard to apologize before giving him a thumbs-up.
Other Chelsea fans in the area appeared to support Azpilicueta – telling him to ignore the fan who has likely expressed criticism of the result.
Azpilicueta is rightly amused by the criticism from fans after Chelsea reached the FA Cup final on Sunday.
Thomas Tuchel is also likely to secure a place in the top four despite all the chaos surrounding the club’s future amid takeover talks.
But the Chelsea boss was actually sympathetic to the fan, saying: “I wasn’t a part of it. I saw it but honestly I can understand the fan too.”

Azpilicueta even scored against the Gunners and showed a striker’s instincts, overcoming Nuno Tavares to equalize and make it 2-2.
But it wasn’t enough to prevent defeat as Arsenal scored twice in the second half to secure back-to-back Premier League wins at Stamford Bridge.
