MANCHESTER UNITED youngster Cristiano Ronaldo Jr showcased his talent with a goal reminiscent of his star father from his winger days.

The 11-year-old, who officially joined the Reds’ academy last month, has left social media frustrated by the strike.

In a clip posted by Ronaldo’s fan account CR7BrazilThe United star can be seen honing his skills on the indoor pitch.

Wearing the club’s training kit, the oldest child of the Ballon d’Or five times made a wall pass back to himself, before making a touch and steering into goal.

Cristiano Jr can be seen rolling the ball, then quickly steps past before slamming Ronaldo’s signature inside.

He then unleashes a right-footed shot into the top right corner before celebrating by running to the camera and taking off his shirt.

Fans enjoyed the video boasting more than 75,000 likes on Instagram.

Commenting on his goal, one user said: “If Cristiano Ronaldo follows his development closely… this man, this boy will be a superstar.”

Another commented: “He has the same style as his dad lol even the cut he gave there.”

The third added: “He reminds me of Ronaldo when he was young in Manchester.”

The fan then texted: “Wow, I’m still watching this guy grow up and become a football monster.”

Meanwhile, one person simply said: “The cuts and kicks are very similar to Cristiano.”

In September, Ronaldo’s mother Dolores Aveiro stated that her grandson is better than what the Real Madrid legend is his age.

Although Ronaldo has insisted that he will never force his son to stay with football.

He said of his son’s football future: “Only time will tell. I will never put pressure on him. He will do what he wants.

“Also, what I want most for Cristianito and everyone is for them to be happy and to choose what they want. I will support in any way.”

Ronaldo trained with Cristiano Jr in Dubai in January during the Premier League winter break.
