TREVOH CHALOBAH has scored on both his Premier League and Champions League debuts after coming home to Juventus.
The defender made a shocking start to Crystal Palace in August but fired from the outside of the box.
With his family proudly watching in the stands, Chalobah seemed burst into tears as he celebrated.
And he cut an equally emotional look after his first half volley Chelsea came back 1-0 against Juventus.
Those were some of the ways to mark his first appearance in Europe, just a day ago Chalobah discussed his breakout start to the season.
“It was important for me to maintain my level of consistency,” he said.
“Every time I get a chance to play, I give it my all and show the manager who I am.”
Chalobah also credits experienced pairing Antonio Rudiger and Thiago Silva for his form.
He said: “Thiago Silva was one of my idols growing up as a child, and how successful he was.
“It was great to share the pitch and training sessions with him.
“For me as a young player, he was someone I needed to look at to know where I was and where I wanted to be.
“Antonio has been a huge mentor to me since I first came here.
“He took me in and helped me in training sessions. When I was on loan, he told me what was needed.
“Now it’s good to be playing on the same pitch with him.”
