CHELSEA loanee Malang Sarr scored a disastrous own goal for Monaco in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The Ligue 1 side lost 4-0 at Trabazonspor.
And the first was gift-wrapped when goalkeeper Alexander Nübel smashed the ball away from Sarr’s body from close range.
The 23-year-old, who is on a temporary contract from Stamford Bridge, has been torn between trying to control it or staying out of the way.
He stretched out a leg and it steered painfully into the empty gate.
Sarr’s hands were already on his knees when the ball hit the back of the net.
Blues fans were scathing on social media in reacting to the gaff.
One user wrote: “He’ll never set foot back on Stamford Bridge, don’t worry lads.”
Another added: “I never want to see him at Chelsea again”.
Although admitting there was very little the loanee could do against goal.

He wrote: “Oh this is bad. But there is absolutely nothing Sarr can do about it.”
Sarr is on a season-long transfer in view of a £10million permanent deal at the end of the season.
The Frenchman turned down a move to Blues neighbors Fulham to return to Ligue 1.
