Smith created a hugely controversial moment en route to victory.
During the fight, the British Super Lightweight Champion responded to a left Allington counter by lifting him up and knocking him to the ground.
The referee immediately stopped the fight but somehow chose not to deduct a point from Smith.
After being sternly told not to do it again, Smith got away with his indiscretion and the fight continued.
The 26-year-old from Sheffield then improved to 14:0 with a dominant point gain and was on the scorecards 120:107, 119:108 and 119:108.
Smith has been compared to wrestler Steve Austin on social media, and iFL TV dubbed him “Stone Cold Dalton Smith”.
One fan replied: “Freezing? Or completely illegal?”
And a second wrote: “Pathetic referee who does not dock there.”

A third commented: “Dirty, no need at all.”
And another added: “Pathetic direct DQ.”
In the main event, Leigh Wood was dethroned as the world featherweight champion by Mauricio Lara.
Dubbed “Dance with the Devil,” the fight ended with a left hook from hell.
Wood was comfortably ahead on the scorecards through six rounds.
But Lara produced a brutal seventh-round KO to steal the Brit’s crown.
Wood’s defeat left his dreams of an all-British title defense against Josh Warrington in tatters.
