ARSENAL star Oleksandr Zinchenko appeared to lose his composure after the 1-0 FA Cup defeat at the hands of his former Manchester City team-mates – and fans want to know why.

Nathan Ake scored the winning goal for Pep Guardiola’s side to knock Arsenal out of the cup.

The Premier League champions are hoping to unnerve the Gunners, who hold the top spot by a five-point margin and a game in hand.

Friday’s FA Cup clash also marked Zinchenko’s return to the Etihad, where he spent six years of his career.

Zinchenko won four Prem titles, four EFL Cups and one FA Cup during his time with the Citizens.

However, he was unable to help Arsenal pass City after coming off the bench in the second half.

The left-back was also cautioned late for a foul and luckily avoided a second yellow card for a tackle on Bernardo Silva.

But at full-time, surrounded by his former teammates, Zinchenko appeared excited and emotional.

He tried to break free from Joao Cancelo’s grip after speaking to Riyad Mahrez and fans are unsure if he was happy or angry.

One said: “I need to know what Mahrez said.”

Another tweeted: “Zinchenko is bullied like youngest brother.”

A third asked: “Why was Zinchenko so angry?”

After breaking free, Zinchenko swapped shirts with Kyle Walker before disappearing into the tunnel.

Arsenal meet Man City again in the Emirates in mid-February.

This game could increase Mikel Arteta and co’s chances of finishing the season as league winners.

An away trip to the Etihad follows in April.
