Super Bowl: For some, this is a chance to watch two great teams play against each other in the stadium for the ultimate prize. For others, it’s a chance to get together with the family, enjoy some snacks, and watch epic entertainment. But you’re here to advertise, and we have the highlights.
If you missed the game and want to catch up on commercials or do something else with your time during the ad break, this is the place for you. There are also new trailers for Jordan Peele’s Are not, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of MadnessDisney Plus’s Moonlight Knight and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Powerbut here are some commercial highlights without the trailer, listed in alphabetical order:
BMW: Zeus & Hera
The electric puns are both good and good, and Arnold Schwarzenegger and Salma Hayek Pinault as the retired Zeus and Hera are an interesting one. But most of all, there’s a reason this place makes this list: Peggy, the adorable baby Pegasus Zeus for a walk.
Bud Light Seltzer Hard Soda: Land of Loud Flavors
Welcome to FlavorTown, USA (with serial number removed). Guy Fieri plays with a simple, effective joke taken to the extreme – he’s the mayor of the Land of Loud Flavors. And everybody has her own hairstyle.
Chevy: The New Generation (The Sopranos)
New decade, new Sopranos, new Chevy. Excerpts from The Sopranos’ opening include Alabama 3’s classic opening theme song “Woke Up This Morning” as well as appearances by actors Jamie-Lynn Sigler (Meadow Soprano) and Robert Iler (AJ Soprano). ), and is Directed by Sopranos host David Chase. Instead of Tony driving a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban like in the show, it was Meadow in an electric Chevy Silverado.
Hellmann’s: Mayo Food Waste
Here’s the one for fans of the old Terry Tate: Office Linebacker commercial series – or fans of Pete Davidson being addressed. Super Bowl champion veteran Jerod Mayo (now a coach of the Patriots) has arrested a lot of people for food waste in this commercial, culminating in Davidson (who shyly admits “I get it.” , I’m so lovable”).
Kia EV6: Robot Dog
This ad has it all: a robot dog, a real dog, robot dog stunts, Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart”, other robot dog stunts, links dog-to-robot, real-dog-to-robot bond, robot-associated electric car – the list goes on.
Class: Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd
You probably already know from the title whether you like this or not. It was Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd, hanging out and talking about the “memories” they had with Lays’ fries.
Nissan: The driver is thrilled
Courtyard: a great car can make Eugene Levy a convincing action leader. And it kind of works!
PepsiCo: Road to Super Bowl LVI
A classic of Super Bowl commercials: soccer legends hang out. Mannings are everywhere on TV these days, but it was fun to see Jerome Bettis giving his all in this game.
Rakuten: High stakes
Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso) is actually what makes this movie so successful, playing a Bond villain playing poker with just a handful of normal people.
Sam’s Club: Kevin Hart VIP
This is a popular ad genre lately, but there’s a reason it works. Here’s another ‘you get the same service as people who think they’re special’, with Kevin Hart being the smug celebrity this time around.
Squarespace: Sally’s Seashells w / Zendaya
An ad purely for old talkers, Squarespace gives us this cute ad featuring Zendaya and André 3000, about their website being so helpful, maybe even helping to sell seashells on the beach.
