Watch a 5-year-old girl walk away after being hit by a car and thrown through the driving school window while playing

A LITTLE girl and her family count her blessings after narrowly escaping death in this shocking video.

CCTV captured the moment a drunk driver ran into a motorcyclist before heading towards the young girl who was playing.

The horrific collision with death occurred in Bontio, Brazil, on Saturday as the girl’s horrified father looked on.

In the video, five-year-old Maria Luiza can be seen playing behind a potted plant on a side street.

Suddenly, a speeding vehicle rushes onto the road and speeds towards where the young girl is playing.

The driver first hits a motorcyclist so hard that he flies over the car before turning to the young girl.

The engine then hits the potted plant and mows into the shop window, knocking the helpless Maria through the wall.

As glass shatters, the car suddenly stops as the little girl is thrown onto what appears to be a bench.

Luckily, the boy got up and quickly ran into her father’s arms, terrified of the ordeal.

Maria’s father initially sat next to her, but just before the mad driver turned onto her street, he moved to the side.

The irresponsible driver was arrested at the scene when a breathalyzer showed he had been drinking.

The driver claimed he had no recollection of losing control of the vehicle as he had been drinking with friends before getting behind the wheel.

Maria’s parents own a refrigerator shop next door to where the incident happened and witnessed it first hand.

Her father told Globo, “We just finished work and sat up front for a moment… it went so fast.”

The five-year-old was rushed to the doctor, where she had X-rays, CT scans and other tests, but was given the all-clear.

Maria’s mother has asked people to avoid drinking and driving as it is not the first time it has put her daughter at risk.

Just three months ago, the little girl needed 26 stitches on her head when her family car was rammed by a drunk driver.

Luckily, little Maria escaped death once again, with just a few small cuts from the broken glass.
