Ray Lewis III was a former college football player and the son of Hall of Fame linebacker and Ravens Legend star Ray Lewis.

He had five other siblings: brothers Rayshad, Ralin, and Rahsaan, and sisters Diaymon and Kailin.

Lewis III was a star running back at Lake Mary Prep HS in Florida, rushing for 1,898 yards and 20 touchdowns and 676 yards and four touchdowns in his senior season. TMZ reported.

He then played at the collegiate level for the Miami Hurricanes, Coastal Carolina Chanticleers and Virginia Union Panthers.

“A true angel, I pray that you are at peace now because I know how much it really hurt you. I can’t and never will have the words, man, because this pain is right here… I love you, I love you, I love you.”

He added… “Your niece missed you, but she will always hear from you. Just take care of us all, big brother, be our protector. I promise I’ll make you smile and proud.”

“Ray was a great young man who played with the spirit of a lion,” said Mark James, Lewis’ coach at VUU Baltimore Sun.

“He was a great addition to the Virginia Union family. He will always be a panther. May God bless his family.”
