A WANTED man who gave police a fake name to avoid arrest has been arrested after officers discovered vital clues in a tattoo on his neck.

Matthew C. Bushman, 36, is being questioned by police after being linked to a forgery.

He gave the officers a fake name and date of birth but they suspected that the suspect had Ink line “Matty B” on his neck.

Bushman was arrested on October 8, 2019, for obstructing justice over lies.

His snap revealed how clear Bushman’s real name was with it swollen lymph nodes in the throat.

It is unclear what pseudonym Bushman used.

It is also unclear why an arrest warrant was issued for him in the first place.

“Mattoon Police arrested Matthew C Bushman, 36, of Mansfield, IL, on charges of Obstruction of Justice,” the Mattoon Police Department said in a statement.

“The arrest occurred at 6 p.m. on November 10, 2019 at the Coles County Jail.

“The allegation alleges that on 10/08/19 the MPD was investigating forgery involving Mr. Bushman, during which time Mr. Bushman provided police with a fake name and date of birth to avoid arrest under warrant. Peoria Co is up and running,” it added.

“Mr. Bushman was taken to the Coles County Jail.”
