Walrus makes Britain’s beach his home as locals have warned to stay safe from bubbling beasts

A WHALE nicknamed Thor has made a UK beach his home – but locals have been warned to stay away.
The bubbling beast was found yesterday morning.

Footage released on social media showed the two-tonne tusked sea monster loitering after heaving itself onto the gravel.
But the Coast Guard have since put up a cordon off the beach at Calshot, Hants, to prevent visitors from disturbing Thor’s peace.
And the British Divers Marine Life Rescue said he should have “no disturbance” as approaching could cause him distress.
Spokesman Dan Jarvis added: “Returning visitors will prevent the animal from conserving its energy and embarking on its next journey.
“The more people that can leave him alone, the better his chances of survival.”
Thor is known to have also visited the Netherlands and France in recent weeks.
Walruses, which can grow up to four meters long and 40 years old, live mainly in the Arctic Circle, although several have been sighted in Europe in recent years.
