She shared a video two days ago warning people not to steal from Walmart unless they want to be embarrassed.

“I was humiliated at Walmart yesterday and I’m going to tell you guys what happened,” she said.

“There’s a new damn warning system or whatever, but only in the self-checkout.”

Vázquez explained she was in the cake aisle at her local Walmart when she found a “gorgeous” chocolate tiramisu cake, but noticed the label was partially torn.

“But I really wanted the cake and it was the last one,” she said.

As she scanned her items at the self-checkout, Vázquez said she had trouble scanning the tiramisu.

“My intention at first wasn’t to steal it,” she said. “It was just to scan it.”

She said she tried several times before giving up, and after noticing workers tending to other customers, Vázquez slipped the cake into her bag before scanning the rest of her items.

However, when attempting to scan her hair dye, Vázquez said the self-checkout again wasn’t working.

“It [the screen] says ’employee comes to you’ or ’employee comes to you’.”

When an employee came to help, Vázquez explained that her hair dye wasn’t scanned and admitted that she should have done the same with the tiramisu, but didn’t and instead tried to hide it in her bag.

The employee enters a code on the scanner to help Vázquez, but the TikToker said that immediately afterward, the screen said, “This person is stealing.”

Vázquez added that the self-checkout camera showed her putting the tiramisu in her bag without paying.

Vázquez, embarrassed, explained to the clerk that the cake was not scanned, but when the clerk tried, the cake was scanned immediately.

“That’s to you thieves. To you people who steal…don’t do it,” Vázquez said.
