Walmart shoppers rush to buy children’s toy essential that scans at the register for over 50% off at $14.97

SHOPPERS have rushed to Walmart after learning a popular children’s toy is being scanned at the checkout for a more than 50 percent discount.

The Fisher-Price toy is available for just $14.97, according to Walmart’s website.

The Laugh & Learn Smart Stages Sis Infant and Toddler Musical Plush Toy originally sold for $32.82.

According to the Walmart website, the discount price is available if the toy is purchased online.

But it can also ring in the shop at a special price.

More than 100 purchases were made yesterday after shoppers learned about the discount.

Known as Sis, the interactive toy can help children learn more than 100 words.

It includes songs and sounds as well as lights to keep children 6 months and older busy.

The toy is one of thousands of Walmart’s discounted or rollback items.

Hundreds of other toys are also being rolled back, although the discount may not be as big as the Fisher-Price Sis toy.

Board games, a mountain bike, and stuffed animals are among the rollbacks currently listed on Walmart’s website.

Meanwhile, some bargain hunters have called the retailer saying they’re charging different prices for two giant jars of garlic.

Shopper Shawn Fanning (@ShawnFanning1) is known for sharing tips on how customers can save hard-earned money when shopping at Walmart.

In a recent viral clip, he revealed that a 32-ounce jar of Great Value’s minced garlic retailed for $8.36.

However, another 32-ounce jar of Great Value brand minced garlic — with a different-colored label — sold for less than $5.

The US Sun has reached out to Walmart for comment on the matter.
