Walmart shoppers can use the mobile app to scan items and uncover huge savings that may not be overtly labeled on the store floor.
Dubbed a “hidden share” by dedicated fans, this is a fun way to stumble upon incredible deals, as products can be scanned for as little as $1.
In a recent video, TikToker @nixerictrevino showed how he scored 50 and 70 percent off household items.
The clip shows the Walmart fan scanning a luxury plush velvet blanket from Better Homes and Gardens, originally priced at $24.72.

However, the mobile app reveals that the item’s new price is only $9.
They proceeded to scan all the blankets on the shelf, revealing the incredible nine-dollar label down the line for the ivory color.
Meanwhile, the gray blanket also had a heavily discounted price, but sold for $13.
In the comments, the original poster suggested that shoppers should compete for the item, noting that they can also sign up to Walmart+ for even more exclusive deals.
MORE WAYS TO SAVE
Buyers should consider downloading the Walmart app as it is the best way to find hidden clearance deals.
The app features special clearance items and a scan tool to find even cheaper products.
Shoppers can even use the Walmart app to scan mispriced items and the staff will give you the lower price at checkout.
But clearance isn’t the only way shoppers can save money at Walmart.
Look out for quality branded products.
These are Walmart’s own brand products, which tend to have the same quality and taste as other brands, but at a much lower price.
Most Walmart groceries and some household items are available under the Great Value brand.
Another thing to consider is couponing, which could save the average household $1,465 a year, according to a study by CouponFollow.
Sometimes these are offered in apps through the retailer you choose to shop from.
Also, there are some third-party apps including Rakuten and Ibotta that you could use.
