Walmart shoppers rush to buy $250 home appliance essential that scans at the register for 44% less than the price tag

HUNDREDS of Walmart shoppers have rushed to buy an essential home that costs less than $140.

The major retailer has slashed the price of a robot vacuum cleaner by more than $100.

Typically, the Shark ION machine would fetch a whopping $249.99 for Walmart buyers.

Homeowners can program the device to clean a variety of surfaces, from carpets to hard floors.

The machine can be controlled via the SharkClean app and users can give it commands via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

The vacuum cleaner recognizes obstacles in the way and maneuvers around them.

Buyers can program the machine to clean their home for up to two hours.

And the device is compact, which means it can clean hard-to-reach spots under furniture.

The item, which comes in an ash color, is flying off shelves as 50 vacuum cleaners have been purchased since yesterday, according to Walmart.

It is not known how long the offer will last.

More than 200 customers have left glowing reviews online.

A buyer known as Nicole urged potential buyers to take advantage of the deal.

She said: “I can’t say enough great things about this robot vacuum cleaner. I can’t believe the things that are ingested from sand to dog hair and even dog food.

“Look no further and just buy this. You won’t regret it.”

Yevonne revealed she “couldn’t be happier” after purchasing the cleaning robot.

Lisa said the device “made cleaning easy” as it can be programmed remotely from the app.

Dozens of buyers have found the vacuum cleaner easy to set up and easy to use.

Walmart isn’t the only retailer selling robot vacuums.

A Eureka robot vacuum is $349.99 on Amazon.

The tech retailer also sells a Rubot vacuum for $279.99.

An iRobot Braava device will set Target buyers back $399.99. The item normally costs $449.99.

A Shark ION Wi-Fi connected robot vacuum is currently priced at $179.99 on Target’s website.

The retailer also sells Ecovacs and Eufy devices.
