The sweet soft drink was first produced in 1939 and has been a popular refreshment ever since.

Walmart took to their Twitter account to deliver the update.

“Hello. It appears that Grapette grape soda has been discontinued,” the company wrote.

The large department store assured that there were many other similar products to choose from.

But at least one buyer was devastated by the news.

They added that their local store’s offerings featured nothing that rivaled the grape-flavored lemonade.

Dunkin’ Donuts was recently unveiled that the Thin Mint Flavor Swirl is gone forever.

“We appreciate your passion for DD!” wrote Dunkin’.

“Sometimes we offer menu items for a limited time tied to major holidays, or as a seasonal offer!

“At this time we have no plans to bring back the Thin Mint Flavor Swirl, but we will definitely pass on your feedback.”

It also scrapped its beloved Dunkaccino earlier this week.
