Vladimir Putin’s health is ‘deteriorating dramatically’ and his ‘secret conditions have affected his judgment in Ukraine’

VLADIMIR Putin’s health is “deteriorating dramatically” and his secretive conditions have influenced his judgment of Ukraine, they say.

Political scientist Valery Solovey – whose previous claims about the Kremlin leader’s poor health have been disputed – claims that Putin’s secret medical conditions have influenced his assessment of the war.

The desperate tyrant will announce the illegal annexation of four Ukrainian regions on Friday, despite strong opposition from world leaders.

His move is seen as a means to escalate the war and is likely to trigger a new wave of Western sanctions.

But Solovey, 62, in an interview with exiled Radio Zhivoi Gvozd, said Putin’s recent activity as president does not mean he is healthy.

“It is a very strange notion that a seriously ill person cannot work and travel,” he said.

“Especially in so much comfort, accompanied by so many doctors and service [according to] highest standards of…world medicine.

“In that sense, everything is planned for him.”

He claimed without evidence that Putin’s health was “deteriorating dramatically”.

Solovey – who claims to have sources within Putin’s circle – said: “All the decisions he made… on February 24 [start Russian invasion of Ukraine] and 21.09 [start of mobilisation] are a direct consequence of its physiological status.

“Directly in terms of physiological health and in terms of mental health [health].”

He went so far as to claim – without evidence – that Putin would not have invaded Ukraine had he been in good health.

“The modern therapy, the targeted therapy of oncological diseases, is of such quality that you will literally work until the last hours,” he said.

The self-proclaimed expert on Putin’s health also dismissed claims by CIA Director William Burns that the Russian leader was “too healthy.”

Calling it a “perfect example of Anglo-Saxon sarcasm,” Solovey added, “Americans know what’s happening [Putin].

“They know the real situation and are actually concerned about it…”

He added: “When they say they don’t see Putin’s statements as a bluff, he’s in a state where it really isn’t a bluff.”

In a pre-recorded message to the Russian people last week, Putin warned the West that he would use “the means at our disposal” to defend Russia, and not “bluff” – widely seen as a threat against the use of nuclear weapons.

Solovey has previously claimed the Russian dictator was suffering from serious illnesses including cancer, Parkinson’s disease and schizoaffective disorder.

There have been Western claims about Putin’s health, notably from ex-MI6 chief Sir Richard Dearlove, who said the Russian leader needs to be sent to a sanatorium for medical problems and will be gone by 2023.

Independent Russian media said that when he traveled, he was constantly surrounded by top Russian medical professionals, including cancer specialists.

This isn’t the first time Putin’s health has come under scrutiny.

In June, Ukrainian officials claimed the evil tyrant was suffering from “serious” illnesses and could die within two years.

Speaking to USA Today, Ukraine’s intelligence chief, Major General Kyrylo O. Budanov, said Putin “doesn’t have a long life ahead of him.”

In another interview with Sky News, the general insisted that Putin was in “very bad mental and physical condition and very ill”.

It comes after a top oligarch reportedly claimed in the audio recording obtained by New Lines Magazine that Putin was “very ill with blood cancer”.

It’s not clear what kind of cancer Putin might have.

Experts have been trying in vain to predict Putin’s health for a long time.
