Vladimir Putin is selfish, narcissistic and exhibits the main characteristics of a psychopath

Lacking compassion coupled with a great sense of self-worth, Vladimir Putin exhibits many of the key traits of a psychopath.

He lacks basic empathy – even for his own people, who are largely against a war that will see them suffer crippling financial consequences.

Instead, his thought process seemed to be: “What do I want to achieve? What is my purpose? ”

Putin stated that he believes Ukraine existed on the historic and legitimate land of Russia and felt a sense of justifiable reclamation in bringing it back under his rule.

His reasoning and decision-making may be illogical – but I believe he has calculated exactly what he wants to achieve and is acting on that basis, what could happen.

That has a very caustic, narcissistic personality type.

Obviously I couldn’t bring him to the counseling room for an evaluation, but he had features of antisocial personality disorder. These include a willingness to exploit others, acting rashly, irritability, and a lack of remorse.

His recent speeches have provided a glimpse into the current state of his mind.

Addressing Ukrainians, he said: “Do not allow neo-fascists and Banderits to use your children, wives and elderly people as human shields. Take the power into your own hands.

“Looks like it would be easier for us to come to an agreement than with this gang of drug addicts and neo-Nazis.”

It was a speech that seemed to be taken from a different reality and in stark contrast to his previous appearances, where Putin exuded a much more calculated air.

Sadly, the citizens of Ukraine are paying for these illusions with their lives.

Putin goes on to create an “alpha male” character. He is extremely selfish, and has a confidence and arrogance that he doesn’t try to hide.

He wants people to think he’s strong and masculine – although to the Western world this is often seen as a caricature of how a man should act.

Unlike a truly protective alpha male, Putin operates from a place of no empathy.

But unlike a truly protective alpha male, Putin operates from a place of no empathy.

The fact that he was bullied as a child is key to how he behaves even today – he wants to show that he is the strong man now.

While he’s been increasingly ostracized from the rest of the world, that’s unlikely to bother him.

Emotions like guilt and shame don’t seem to register with him – another prime example of a latent psychotic nature.
